Abstract: Kerala, God‟s own country is the helm of the Indian Education system by being the most literate state for a long time since independence. However, a small and relatively new state like Mizoram‟s progress to displace Kerala from being the highest literate state should be treated as a distress alarm to the so called Kerala‟s education policy makers. In fact, our article is a reality check on the present education system prevailing in Kerala and a wakeup call to those pseudo-educationalists who still chose to live in the reminisce of the past glorious days. There is a need to overhaul our present educational frame work in order to still top the charts. We need to stress upon the skill developments............

Abstract: This essay advocates a bilingual language study in which English Language and one indigenous language will be central. The bilingual language policy, referred to as elitist bilingualism, is being advocated at the Universal Basic Education (UBE) level. Abstract: The present study aimed to assess the influence of teacher motivation on academic performance of high school students. The sample consisted of 236 high school teachers from Zilla Parishad schools of Khamma district. Abstract: Horticulture has emerged as a viable and important sector in Mizoram. The potential for development in the sector is huge and yet little explored. Though many farmers have adopted horticulture as a means of livelihood, the production still remains much lower than the potential. Improvement in production yield per hectare of land will alleviate the income of farmers and improve the overall economy of the state.

Abstract: Advertisement acts a medium of communication for the Marketers to create awareness and promote product in the society. In initial days the messages were focussing more on the product and its functional aspect. But today advertisers not only concentrate on product and brand but they connect the individuals by focussing on various social messages whereby the product is positioned and at the same time they are able to bring out social awakening a great extent. Abstract: Value integration in the curriculum seems to be a good approach for the 21stcentury learning. There are however, few examples of value integration in policy and practice at the K 12 level. One exception is the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme which features Learner Profile for value and attribute development for students from ages 3 to 12. across. This phenomenological study explored the lived experiences of 12 PYP practitioners to gain deeper understanding on how value development is integrated through Learner Profile. Themes are derived that outlines participants' understandings of value integration through Learner Profile in elementary level. Overall, all the participants believed that the values and attributes can be well integrated in curriculum through Learner Profile.

Abstract: The paper examines the impact of external borrowing on the African economy, using the Nigerian experience as a case study.
