Abstract: Ecotourism is nature-based tourism that involves education and interpretation of the natural environment and is managed to be ecologically sustainable. For tourism to be ecologically sustainable. For tourism to be ecologically sustainable, there must be an appropriate return to the local community and a contribution to the long-term conservation of the resource. A distinction exists between nature-based tourism experience to qualify as an ecotourism experience, more specific criteria must be present, such as an identifiable contribution to conservation. Because the term has different meanings, it is difficult to state exactly all the criteria.

Abstract: A typical humanist is a believer in the dignity of man, and is averse to advocating man‟s dependence on God either for worldly gains or spiritual upliftment. Modern humanists of the west are basically atheists, e.g., Corliss Lamont, have declared their positions to be frankly naturalistic or even materialistic. But the essence of Indian humanism is the proclamation – Ayomatma Brahman - the human self is big or great or cosmic. Post-modernism aspires at sub-altern empowerment ,i.e, to empower the neglected sections of the people like the Dalits, Tribals, Minorities , women and children who are the most vulnerable sections of the human race. Western humanism is basically materialistic and consumeristic where as Indian humanism is the perfect blending of both materialism...........

Title | : | Ideas as the Subject of Philosophical Studies |
Country | : | |
Authors | : | Ryszard Adam Podgórski |
: | 10.9790/0837-2407087076 |
Abstract: Contemporary European society, which builds the subjectively understood dimension of happiness by extending it with utilitarian and hedonistic paradigms, rejects ideals and values. Not much is said about ideas or values in contemporary European philosophy. One can ponder whether ideas have lost their recognition in philosophy and whether the sociological engagement with the idea has been marginalised to such an extent that ideas have become deprived of their natural belonging to the man and society. A man deprived of ideas is a man deprived of his humanity, because it is the idea that makes human and social paradigms relevant. Therefore, it is important to refer to the history of ideas in order to show through history why the idea plays such an important role in the philosophical humanisation of the man. Therefore, it is the author's intention to present the history of ideas and through it to indicate significant paradigms of social values.
