Abstract: The thrust of this study was to examine the pivotal role of National health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in achieving universal health coverage (UHC). This was aimed at examining how the National Health insurance scheme can be used as a mechanism to achieve universal health care coverage in Nigeria and how the insurance scheme can mitigate the financial risk of the citizens in accessing quality health care. A review of existing literature and documents from WHO, NBS, etc overwhelmingly prove that revenue pooling from Social insurance scheme and tax are the appropriate sources of health care funding that can speed up the drive to attain UHC. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to reflect the pragmatics of blessing expressions in Sidaama culture. The method employed to conduct the study was qualitative so that collected data were analyzed qualitatively. The data was gathered through in-depth interviews conducting with a total of 8 individuals (four clan leaders, two village cultural leaders, and two elders). In order to gather accurate and full information about the topic, the participants' age was ranged from 45-85 and selected through purposive sampling method. As a result, blessing could be expressed as a strong tool that ties the people to live together respecting each other and keeping healthy generation. Therefore, this study mainly reflects the situations that blessing takes place and categorizations of blessing accompanying with morphological analysis and the descriptions of meaning. Abstract: Stress is a physical response that our body gives to any particular event or a problematic situation. When the body experiences stress, it undergoes a fight or flight situation (Lazarus,1984). The challenge is when our body undergoes any stressful situation it creates an imbalance in the body which needs to be brought back to a balance stage. The research paper focuses on stress management in academic sphere. As we all know college requires more efforts than high school. As observed that students are motivated to do the work and the instructors also demands higher level of performance. Because of these demands it is common for students to experience stress. Abstract: The study was carried out to examine the socio-economic characteristics of tea plantation workers. The Tea industry in India has given occupation to the major work force in which Nilgiris is also take part. Out of total 172000 hectares under tea cultivation in South India, Nilgiris individually accounts for about 90000 hectares and these results in produces tea of about 30 million kg of tea annually which is nearly 60 per cent of the total population. This study has made an attempt to explore the living conditions of the tea garden workers in Nilgiris district. The study describes the Socio, Economic, Demographic Profile, Working Conditions, Determinant of Wages. Hence, the present study is both descriptive and analytical in nature. Abstract: The paper highlighted the Kanyakumari Minor Port performance and its efficiency. Indian ports are divided into two categories viz., Major ports and Minor ports. The ports are marked by its draft level, cargo handling facilities for export and import operations, coastal services. There are 12 major ports and 212 minor ports are in India. India has 7517 km coastal line which accommodates nine states and four union territories. The authors studied Tamil Nadu maritime board besides Kanyakumari minor port. The authors collected primary data from 100 respondents from Kanya kumari port. The collect data were analysed by using Chi- Square, ANOVA along with simple percentage. The hypotheses are tested, of which few proved and few disproved. The overall performances are is good and appreciable

Abstract: Youth unemployment in Kenya stood at 18% in 2014 as opposed to 6% in both Uganda and Tanzania. The high rate of unemployment has negative consequences on the society including wastage of resources, high rates of crime and substance abuse among others. In BahatiSub-County, prevalence of illicit alcohol use among the youths stands at 51.6%. Most studies examining causes of youth unemployment in Kenya have focused on demand side factors such as economic growth and availability of opportunities. Abstract: There are many policies and programmes introduced by Government to improve healthcare services in Nigeria which Borno State is not exclusive One of these policies and programmes is National Health Insurance (NHIS) introduce in 1962. It is inview of this that this study assesses National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and Employees' Access to healthcare Services in Borno State. The findings of this research revealed that Employees working in the Urban areas don't have full access to the scheme while those working in the Rural Areas have no access to the scheme at all. The study concludes that more medical equipment and personnel should be available and accessible and well as proper awareness about the scheme. The Study recommends amongst others that Stakeholders should embarked on awareness, facilities should be provided in Hospitals and Clinics, personnel should be properly trained, government should provide adequate fund, fight corruption to avoid embezzlements and to have equal distributions.

Abstract: "ChhaupadiPratha‟ is in the Karnali and far-western states of Nepal. It‟s a kind of a cultural practice that violates the rights of women and girls. Especially, Women and girls during their menstruation periods are forced to live in a menstruation shed, cowshed or in tiny rooms until their periods are over. Besides the isolation from family and society, menstruating women and girls are also restricted from participating in day-to-day activities such as using communal water resources, touching male members and engaging in any religious or social gathering, cooking, and taking baths. In this paper,it explores the impacts of ChhaupadiPratha on the health of women and girls during their menstruation period and examines the root causes of the serious discriminatory practice against women and girls and why ChhaupadiPratha continues even if it has been declared illegal by the government........

Abstract: Women's participation in self-help groups' activities is mostly geared towards their empowerment. The world today takes issues on women empowerment to enhance international development and poverty reduction. In Tigania West Sub-county there was insufficient well documented information that could be used to enhance support for the self-help groups by development agencies. The purpose of this study was to establish the influence of participation in self-help groups on self-confidence. The study was guided by the family systems theory. Target population was all women in self-help groups in Tigania West Sub-County and accessible population was 3610 women from 25 registered self-help groups.
