Abstract: This study assesses the relationship between cultural belief and self-management of type 2 diabetes among Black Africans (BAs) in Liverpool. Data were collected using questionnaires and oral interview while the Pearson Chi-square technique was adopted in the validation of hypothesis stated in the study. The result of the analysis revealed that there is no significant relationship between culture and belief and self-management of type 2 diabetes(T2DM)among Black Africans in Liverpool.
