Abstract: This study examined the impact of macroeconomic policies on poverty and income inequality in Nigeria spanning 28 years, from 1991 to 2018. To achieve this study specific objectives, the OLS was used as the estimation technique to estimate the impact of macroeconomic policies on poverty and income inequality in Nigeria. From our empirical results, there is evidence of a significant relationship between economic growth, poverty and income inequality. While growth plays a significant role in reducing the gap in income inequality, this has not translated to reducing poverty. The results also show that government macroeconomic policies were consistent with both reducing poverty and income inequality. Abstract: Knowledge of the status of development at micro level will help in identifying where a given area stands in relation to others. The spatial distribution of variables and rural development is not uniform in Satara district. The present study deals with the evaluation of socio-economic transformation using geospatial technology for the period of 1991 to 2011. This transformation depends on various indicators like Physical, demographic, social and economic. A composite index of development has been formulated based on various variables. All the selected variables are converted in to a common base indexing and finally they are converted in to a single index of overall development. Abstract: Dilsey‟s faith and fidelity to the Compson household, her compassion for the idiot Benzy, her common concerns for all the children in that household, and her steadfast devotion to her employers win her our regard and admiration. She is the only one in the novel who acts positively and unselfishly, and who depends on Christian faith and love as a defense against sin and evil. Dilsey transcends chaos by her vision of Christian equilibrium and order. She also embodies much that the Compsons lack, especially a duty to her position as a servant and her total faith in God. In the final section of the novel, Faulkner greatly emphasized her role and gave her much attention and importance. Abstract: Oro facial clefts (OFC) are the most frequent birth defects worldwide. Cleft lip with/or palate are the major human orofacial congenital malformations seen in live birth as well as in still birth.Cleft lip and palate represent a major public health problem due to the possible associated life-long morbidity, complex etiology and the extensive multidisciplinary commitment required for intervention. The term "orofacial cleft" (OFC) covers a wide range of disorders affecting the lips and oral cavity which manifest in the new born infant. OFC involves structures around the oral cavity which can extend on to the facial structures resulting in oral, facial and craniofacial deformity. The main categories are isolated cleft palate (CP) and cleft lip with or without cleft palate (CL/P). Additionally, OFCs may be left- or right-sided (unilateral), or both sided (bilateral). Abstract: This study describes the implications of Eswatini English language subject non passing or failing policy of 2019 on students' development of critical thinking skills and thinking disposition through the lens of students' responses on the Junior Certificate history examination of 2018. Students' responses as data were analysed through content analysis. The findings indicated that the policy could increase inequalities in societies and exacerbates the existing problem of marketization in education. It could derail government's effort of helping students to transcend their disadvantages through education. It concluded that the policy has brought a culture of contradiction within the Eswatini education system
