Abstract: Criminal activities especially in urban areas all throughout the world getting worse situation day by day. In the developing countries like India it is now in grave situation. Here in this work, Krishnagar Municipal area has been selected as the study area because it is evident that KUA is highly vulnerable to all types of crime due to high population density and high population pressure in unorganized sectors, mixed population composition and economic disparity in this area. Varied types of violent, economic and property crimes are recorded in this area. drug trafficking, gunrunning, money laundering and extortion, murder for hire, fraud, human trafficking, Child trafficking, Modern Slavery........
