Abstract: Sport provides many benefits to its practitioners. However, stress, anxiety and depression are connected to sports competitions and have been a problem for those who are involved directly or indirectly (athletes, coaches and families). This article analyses the key symptoms approached by the following inventories: Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) and Athlete Burnout Questionnaire (ABQ), based on the data of 272 athletes from Mato Grosso/Brazil. The answers to all questions were tabulated and compared to the total scores of their respective subscales through Pearson correlation.
