Abstract: The objective of this paper is to find out the status, health and human rights of woman and children in India. Really, can we be considered women and children as vulnerable groups in India? There are certain groups of human beings which either by nature or because of deep-rooted custom is weak and vulnerable, such as, child, women, disabled persons, aged persons etc. India has given equal status to women under its Constitution under Article 14 which provides that "the State shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India". The Constitution of India provides under the Article 15 that every female citizen has a right to access to shops, public restaurants, hotels and places of public entertainment and no restriction can be imposed on female citizens with regard to the use of wells, tanks, bathing ghats, roads and places etc. However, in order to improve their status further, the Constitution provides under Article 15(3) state may make special provisions for women. Likewise, the constitution of India under Article 24 provides that no child below the age of fourteen years shall be employed in any factory or mine or engaged in any other hazardous employment is prohibited but Child labour is prevailing still in India. According to the international Labour Organisation estimated in 2000 some 211 million children between 5 to 14 years of age work in developing countries, with about half working full time.

Gandhi is known for using techniques of non-violence to help India achieve independence. However what hasn‟t been discussed enough is the source of inspiration for most of the principles propounded by Mahatma Gandhi. The researcher through this paper aims to bring to light the lesser known fact about the kind of influence the Holy Bible and Jesus Christ, in particular, have had on Gandhi and Gandhian Principles with the help of sufficient supporting evidence to understand the same.

Title	:	A Turn-Around In the Education Sector: An Essential Step in Developing 21st Century Nigerian Child

Abstract: In any society, education is the means, by which citizens are equipped with the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skill that will enable them, contribute meaningfully to national development. The reason for this assertion is not far-fetched. This is because development in the socio-economic, technological and cultural advancement of any nation depends on the level of education of its citizens. In addition productivity improvement is a function of the quality of education provided for the citizenry. However the Nigerian education system within the last decade seemed to have been infected with the malaise of movement without motion, growth without development and quantity without quality. Hence the consistent declining forms of the Nigerian Educational System. The proposed N426.53 billion for the Education sector in the 2013 budget has been greeted with commendations from stakeholders in the sector, who described it as a step in the right direction towards meeting the 26 per cent UNESCO minimum recommendation for education in every country‟s budget. It implies that in 2013, education will gulp 8.7 per cent of the national budget. This is the first time since independence that the Education sector will top the national budget. There is therefore the need for stepping up the dwindling nation‟s education sector to engender greater productivity and meaningful development of both the 21st century Nigerian child and the Nigerian nation.

Abstract: In 2007, the federal government of Nigeria outlined a development blueprint to Nigerians in what was described as seven-point agenda, geared towards vision 2020.The aim of the vision 2020 is to make Nigeria one of the twenty top developed economies in the world by the year 2020. Nigeria's population is predominantly youth, with young people under 35 years accounting for about 50 percent of the country's over one hundred and forty (140) million people (Federal Ministry of Youth Development, 2008). This means that in the year 2020 these young people will be the key drivers of the economy and will be the leaders in business and public services. Education was among the top in the seven-point agenda of the federal government. There is no doubt that the level of development in a country is a direct reflection of her system of education. In fact a high rate of development is a product of a well-organized, managed and supervised educational system. Education is the bedrock of any meaningful development. It is a means by which citizens are equipped with the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills that will enable them contribute meaningfully to national development. Thus every nation of the world has recognized and accepted education as the springboard of societal development. For developing nations in particular, education remains a potent factor for eradicating poverty and changing the misfortune of under development. Ukeje in Ejikeme (2012) summed it up when he opined that Education is power; it is a process of acquiring knowledge and ideas that shape and condition human attitude, actions and achievements. It is a process of developing the child's moral, physical, emotional and intellectual power for his contribution in social reform. It is the process of mastering the laws of nature and utilizing them effectively for the welfare of the individual and for social reconstruction. It is the art of the utilization of knowledge for complete living

Abstract: This book argues thatthe work of the French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan remains relevant 'in spite of everything' that his detractors have done to belittle it. The sixteen essays in the book set to explain why this is the case. This book can be generically termed as a 'transferential memoir' that seeks to explore the 'poetics' of the analytic transference. Élisabeth Roudinesco's main goal is to work-through her transference to the Lacanian project of a 'return to Freud', and explain to contemporary readers how and why Lacan re-invented psychoanalysis after the two world wars; and whya merely technocratic approach to analysis is misplaced given the horrendous reality of anti-Semitism and genocide that was triggered off during the war years. It is therefore important she argues to think through the Freudian insight about the pervasiveness of the death instinct within a theory of analytic metapsychology. This will help her readers to understand why the later Lacan invokes the figures of Antigone against Oedipus and the Marquis de Sade with Kant to forge a model of desire that can accommodate the death instinct rather than negate it in the interests of bourgeois propriety or the service of goods.

Abstract: Disasters in general leave a long lasting impact on the mankind & society as a whole. The materialistic damage that it causes have a chance to be reinstated to a major extent but the internal psychological damage that it causes to the people takes ages to heal and sometimes remains unhealed as not much help is available in that area. In this paper we have analyzed the psychological problems faced by the rescuers and victims during and after the disaster starting from day 1 to day 30 of the disaster, beginning from facing the victim in the field to rehabilitation of the victim after the disaster. The research methodology includes expert opinions and focus group discussions from various stake holders of Disaster management including psychologists, NGO, Defense personnel and academicians who are involved in the teaching of Disaster management. Detailed interviews were also conducted of the rehabilitated victims of disasters; reports from the media have also been referred. We have limited our study to Natural & Manmade Disasters excluding civil commotions, riots and wars .The paper is conceptual in nature and it aims at providing suggestions and possible solutions on the psychological problems identified during the research

Abstract:Among the many communication tools available, theatrical representation is a favorite in many sub-Saharan African countries. Because of its festive, communal, realistic and concrete nature, it is almost impossible to avoid if you have a message to transmit to local communities – whether rural or urban. When we talk about theatre in the development context, we are obviously not talking about classical theatre, but rather about popular forms of theatre also known as street theatre, intervention theatre, or theatre for develop-ment. The most popular forms of theatre for development are forum theatre, interactive theatre, and the theatre debate – all of which use similar techniques. One of the distinguishing characteristics of popular theatre is its social content. The troupes of actors are often local or regional. The villagers do not have to travel to see the performances, as the troupes come to the villages to perform. Within development, there is an increasing recognition of the need to hear the opinion of the people who are most affected by development. One response to this is 'Theatre for Development', which is a technique of performance and drama-building. It rests on an interaction between people who are in the flight path of development projects and those agencies who initiate them. This paper will examine theatre as a powerful tool of communication which enables people to contribute in the development of their society and thereby get involved in the search for solutions.

The 20th century witnessed the emergence of new forms of communication than any other period in history. This new younger is depending on day-today for their information and entertainment through traditional media i.e. the usage of Newspaper, Radio and Television is declining. As successive new media have come into being, ordinary people have started to enjoy the expanded quality, range, and choice of entertainment and information content. Contemporary media of new media play a major role in building and sustaining, democracies, societies, and economics around the world. New media provide citizens with the information necessary to make informed socio-economic and political choices. Technology has powered an explosion of media usage among new generation in the last decade- so much so that these new generation spend as much as time consuming new media in every day. This contemporary media of new media like social media, social networks give a voice to women, youths, and marginalized groups, along with their opinions. The growth of the Internet access and use in India has dramatically altered the ways in which individuals use the new media. The Indian contemporary media scene represents a fast-emerging and influential domain of information exchange and entertainment. The Indian youths are at the forefront of these changes. This fastest growth over the next decades will prove the biggest opportunity for India and especially its youth, whose potential needs to be harnessed rightfully and beyond boundaries.All this changes and growth is in the result of the new media is emerging as a communicative medium of information and entertainment forms for the Indian new generation. The present research is in the nature of empirical. Use, access, and reach of new media among the new generation is correlated with use of this contemporary media as a medium of information and entrainment forms of communication in their day-today life. The survey research method is followed for data collection.

Abstract: Tanzania is a developing economy but rich in natural resources not yet fully exploited to contribute to economic growth and development. Of recent, vast quantities of natural gas potential for commercial extraction have been discovered and further exploration activities are ongoing to establish the actual natural gas potential of Tanzania. Official figures indicate that Tanzania's confirmed natural gas reserves stand at over 46.5 trillion cubic feet (TCF).Although companies have not announced the discoveries to be commercially viable, the discovery has generated great optimism, especially in the government cycles, that Tanzania will soon be an exporter of energy generated from natural gas and fulfil its Vision 2025 of becoming a middle income country by 2025. This paper problematises the optimism and euphoria that comes with the discovery of natural gas in Tanzania. It argues that, although the discovery of natural gas has the potential of making Tanzania achieve its resource based development strategy, it is obvious that equitable and sustainable benefits will largely depend on how the sub-sector becomes inclusive of the needs, aspirations and expectations of the majority. The argument is therefore not what the government authorities think is best to do with natural gas but what the public expects from the extraction of natural gas. Thus the involvement of people in the design and implementation of all plans and strategies for natural gas extraction is crucial for the sub-sector's development.

Title	:	Improving living conditions in Slums Dwellers

Abstract: Improving living condition of slum dwellers is one of the development goals for new era. The existence of slums is essentially a manifestation of poverty, along with the economic and industrial development-slums will continue to exist and grow further. New residents need jobs, safe housing, and access to basic services. To accommodate these demands, many cities struggle to keep up and often fall short. This is in part due to resource constraints, but also due to capacity constraints, lack of urban planning and management, and lack of political will. Meeting this challenge will require new thinking and innovations in service delivery through the use of ICT, new partnerships and new financing opportunities, an expanded role for NGOs and the private sector, and new technological solutions. There is also an important role for better urban planning and management to anticipate the influx of new city residents and their needs. The condition of the Slum people can be improved even at low levels of economic development through appropriate public action for social provisioning and redistribution. This is revealed by comparative indicators of health, education and demographic transition. Increasing numbers of slums constitute a major challenge to development. The result emphasizes the need for measures to improve the physical environment of the dwelling places like basic amenities of toilets, proper drainage, sewerage system and adequate water supply.

Abstract: Morocco is one of the developing countries occupying a strategic position nowadays. In this order, He multiplies the free trade agreements and becomes member of several international organizations. He focuses furthermore on economic diplomacy to respond to the international challenge of integration his economy into the global economy.
Morocco which faces unprecedented crisis adopts an active diplomacy aimed to diversify his partners and promotes the attractiveness of foreign investments. However, the contribution of the economic diplomacy remains low compared to the committed resources. This assessment invites us to engage an abroad reflection on the contribution of the economic diplomacy in the development of emerging countries, beyond the Moroccan case.
