Title	:	Job Stress study of Female Nurses working for Private and Public Hospitals from Urban Area

Abstract: It is an important task of working women to handle two important tasks. These most important tasks involve, justifying the responsibilities at work place and handling the responsibilities at home front. Balancing these two roles at home and work is very challenging task and causes stress at different levels. Different dimension of working women's life involves in evolving the stress in working women's life. These stresses cause the imbalance at the front of and handling family responsibility. The study is focusing on the stress causes among female nurses working for private and public hospitals from urban area. A sample of 70 female nurses from urban area participated in this study. Out of this, 35 each are from private and public hospitals respectively. A non-experimental, cross-sectional survey design was conducted using Demographic information form. The inventory used is based on 5 point scale. Using correlation and regression analysis, the result shows that there was significant difference in stress level between female nurses working in public and private hospitals. The measurement of stress level of occupational stress among working female nurses indicates the impact and occurrence of justification of job duties. The result can be applied for further research on working married women, especially concerning the impact and occurrence of job stress on patient's service and health. These results can be further applied to the studies concerning to mental health among the working women.

Abstract: This aim of the study is to determine the regulations related to the supervision and guidance of the financial management of the local government in Indonesia. Qualitative approache of Socio Legal Research is applied in the study. Supervision and guidance of the financial management of the local government cannot be said to be effective yet due to the multi layered and tiered steps of controlling resulting in overlapping examinations performed by both internal and external auditors. It can occur because of several factors and they are as follows: (1) Internal and external audits have the duties and authorities to audit the financial responsibility of the state/local agency over any institutional activities with the relatively same objectives and scopes of the examination; (2) Coordination to avoid the overlapping between the internal and external audits is relatively difficult to do since it can result in the restrictions of the supervisions; (3 ) The results of the internal audit shall not be mutually used by both internal and external audits.

Abstract: The Integrated Watershed Management (IWM) approach has been globally accepted as the most viable option for natural resource management, but has not been efficiently implemented because of lack of required framework and/ or technical know-how. In the current scenario , where emphasis is being placed on making the local-level users participate in the management of natural resources at the watershed level, it is imperative that these local-level organizations be strengthened by providing the integrated watershed management tools which are user-friendly, but have their foundation in scientific knowledge to arrive at the appropriate decisions. This article is a humble attempt to put forward a scientific approach in the form of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to handle the IWM strategy through a case study implemented to demonstrate framework for local-level planning, incorporating the sustainability aspects of watershed development. One of the strongest points in favour of IWM is that it provides a platform for integrating the bio-physical and the social. The watershed management involves a large number of guiding principles such as conservation of natural resources, development of natural as well as social resources, in situ soil moisture conservation, sustainable farming system, livelihood support for landless families, democratic decentralization in decision making, equity for resource poor families and empowerment of women.

Abstract: It is observed in the past that people have one problem or the other in which they cannot solve or provide remedies on their own be it social, educational, vocational, and psychological. At that point in time those categories of people had gone to other people in the society to solicit for helps and assistance. For this fact, the researcher deem it fit and necessary to investigate whether with the advancement of knowledge, and technology which make the country to be a global village there are professionals or experts that can provide lasting solutions to those problems through the counselling skills and techniques, rather than seeking helps from herbalists or ritualists among others. Importantly, there is need for urgent call to have professionals and experts in counselling that will handle the problems successfully and provide clue or way out to the constraints. Such professionals will utilize their knowledge, experience, wisdom, and skills to handle the social, educational, vocational, and psychological needs of physically challenged people in the society at large.

According to Hetcher (1966) one of the characteristic features of the development of industrial society is the separation of the individuals from the social roots and cultural cocoon that shaped him. While, Country's Specific Advantage (CSA's) Indian LG Electronics Company gain and achieved competitive advantages in industries location, productivity and services possible based on the country natural resources, labour force (population) and cultural values. However, the challenges in South Korean business includes: High level violation of ethics guiding work and performance, illegal price agreement with formation of cartel and collusions which are business ethical setback of World businesses in general.

Abstract: Leboku is the annual new yam festival celebrated in Ugep by the people in honour of the earth goddess and the ancestral spirits of the land for bountiful harvest. This study evaluates the role of Leboku new Yam Festival (LNYF) in hotel and tourism development. This annual celebration attracts tourists from all over the world every August to the land of Ugep people so as to witness their rich African culture, language and identity. The goal of this study was to raise consciousness on the strong relationship between Leboku New Yam Festival and hospitality as well as tourism development. Correct and précised data were collected using primary and secondary sources of data. 100 questionnaires were designed and administered, while 99 were retrieved and were accurately analyzed. LNYF promotes: inter – cultural co – operation, creates job opportunities, unity, and hotel/tourism development as affirmed from our results/findings. Tourists problems/expectations in patronizing hotels were discovered too which included: accessibility, affordability, comfortability, and hospitality. However, the study proved that LNYF – just like every other festival – is a tourist event and as such contributes not just to hotel/tourism development but also in a peoples/nations development.

Abstract: Islamic perspective on management has been described and discussed on the basis of the revealed sources of Islamic knowledge such as the holy Qur‟an and Hadith. This is considered to be the valid instruments of contact or consult for the smooth running of human affairs. Currently, the management practices of some muslim dominated communities have turned otherwise in terms of human and material resources management. This led to the re-introduction of Islamic management theories in order to make case for models of Islamic management system which is expected to serve as a reminder and turning point for the Muslim leaders who have prioritized the western principles above the teachings of Islam on management of human and materials affairs. Our engagements in life, especially the muslims must be in line what has been ordained by Allah (swt) and the teachings of His most respected apostle Muhammad (pbuh), because this is the strategic way of decision making in Islam which requires God‟s consciousness. Abstract: Every Electronic circuit is assumed to operate off some supply voltage which is usually assumed to be constant. A voltage regulator is a power electronic circuit that maintains a constant output voltage irrespective of change in load current or line voltage. Many different types of voltage regulators with a variety of control schemes are used. With the increase in circuit complexity and improved technology a more severe requirement for accurate and fast regulation is desired. This has led to need for newer and more reliable design of dc-dc converters. The dc-dc converter inputs an unregulated dc voltage input and outputs a constant or regulated voltage. The regulators can be mainly classified into linear and switching regulators. All regulators have a power transfer stage and a control circuitry to sense the output voltage and adjust the power transfer stage to maintain the constant output voltage. Since a feedback loop is necessary to maintain regulation, some type of compensation is required to maintain loop stability. Compensation techniques vary for different control schemes and a small signal analysis of system is necessary to design a stable compensation circuit. State space analysis is typically used to develop a small signal model of a converter and then depending on the type of control scheme used, the small signal model of converter is modified to facilitate the design of the compensation network. In contrast to a state space approach, PWM switch modeling develops a small signal of switching components of converter System level models are implemented using the Simulink in Mat lab. The following study provides details of methodologies for designing each component or block used in the switching regulator. Finally, simulation results are presented for voltage and V2 control schemes and their performance results are compared and inferences are drawn on the performance of current mode control.

Title	:	Posters, Banners and Billboards Visual Pollution in Nigerian Urban Environment: Challenges to Urban Managers

Abstract: Pollution of environment with chemical substances had received some attention while not much had been done in the area of visual pollution. This paper examined ways by which posters and billboards have impacted negatively on Nigerian's urban environment. The study area covered three (3) senatorial districts of Ondo State – Okitipupa, Igbokoda, Ondo, Akure, Owo and Ikare-Akoko. These towns served as melting points for socio-economic and political activities of their LGAs. Information on sources of posters, target areas for displaying posters, conditions for removal of posters after use, effectiveness of posters in conveying the desired messages, people's perception on its adequacy constitute the information gathered through Questionnaire. The result showed that the highest generator of visual pollution are the politicians which accounted for 45% of the total waste and followed by churches/mosques (21%), Entertainment industries (13%), Education (11%) and industries/Companies (10%). In terms of spatial location, the city centre attracted the highest number of posters with 39%, while other junctions attract 22%, bus stop with 16%, school vicinity with 15% and church/mosques vicinity with 8%. Posters and banners have been found to impede visibility especially around city junctions and in some cases led to accidents. Indiscriminate display of posters reduces the aesthetic value of cities and constitutes irritation to visitors. The paper made some recommendation to city managers.

Title	:	Factors That Influence the Increase of Prostitution in Bulawayo's Business Centre

Abstract: The study sought to assess the factors that influence the increase of prostitution in Bulawayo's Business Centre. It is generally noted that many young women married or unmarried, employed and unemployed, including teenagers of between 13 to17 years are involved in prostitution. It is observed that there many brothels, bars and hotels that attract quite a number of young women. The government's efforts initiated in curtailing the rate of prostitution through criminalising commercial sex-work by arresting and detaining those suspected of loitering or soliciting for clients seems to have failed. A Mixed Methods Approach which combines quantitative and qualitative paradigms was adopted. Due to the clandestine operation of prostitutes, the exact size could not be ascertained; however, a sample of 25 respondents was used in the study which was selected through snowballing sampling technique. The findings revealed that Zimbabwe's dire economic situation has forced many young women into prostitution. The majority of the prostitutes were also found to be drug and alcohol abusers. The study also revealed that the enforcement agents were the main prostitute-abusers who arrested women walking in the streets at night on suspicion of loitering or soliciting for commercial sex-work. The increase of women involved in prostituting activitiesin a country that criminalises the phenomenon indicates that the country is not addressing the problem but the symptom. Therefore, the major focus should be directed towards equalization of political opportunities in which women are educationally and economically empowered.

Abstract: The study aimed at theinvestigation of relationship between parents' social-economic status and participation in development of early childhood education and development programmes in in Githunguri Kiambu, Kenya. Literature review outlined poverty situation in Kenya, causes of poverty, improving child quality, provision of quality education and importance of early years of a child in Early Childhood Education and Development Centre.Target population comprised of all the private and public pre-schools in the district. The sample of the study included five pre-school head teachers, twenty five parents and fifty pre-school children. Random and stratified methods were used to arrive at a random and representative sample for the study. Survey research designwas used for the investigation. Research instruments used included questionnaires, interview schedules for the head teachers and parents and, Observations and records on ECDE education in the district.Data collection was through face to face interactions with the respondents, through questionnaires given out to the respondents with appropriate instruction on how to complete them and through secondary sources, like ECDE programme records in the District Education Office and the internet.Data was analysed with the aid of computer software (SPSS V17.0) for data processing. Results were displayed through descriptions, explanations and categorizations. The study found out strong relationship between parent social-economic status and their involvement in ECDE Programmes' development. The study recommended sensitization of parents on the importance of involvement in development and management of ECDE Programmes in the district and Kiambu County Government to over the management of ECDE education across the county.

Finance acts on economic development in an analogous manner as water acts on life. Water makes up 60% of the body mass, serving as a vital source of life to every cell of the human body, underscoring the importance of water (USGS, 2014). The gravitational pull of life to water is akin to the gravitational pull of interest rates on investment valuation (Buffet, 2002). These metaphors are intended to show the importance of finance to economic development.Financial development in a broader sense can be viewed to act as a gravitational pull on economic development or the reverse position depending on the side of the divide you stand on causality. Abstract: The present study has been undertaken to assess the Information Seeking Behaviour by the Research scholars & Faculty members: A survey study of Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra in the disciplines of Life Science. A well structured questionnaire was distributed among the research-scholars and teachers of seven departments viz Botany, Bio-Chemistry, Biotechnology, Zoology, Microbiology, Home Science and Institute of Environment Studies under the Life Science in K.U.K. The responses were gathered from 121 users (50 Teachers and 71 Research Scholars).The findings of the survey reveal useful facts about the Information Seeking Behaviour by Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra. 28.92% of the respondents were always use the information by the library daily, and same 28.92% sometimes with the requirement of information by the subject of interest. In fact 22.31% of the respondents were always uses the information weekly, 3.30% sometimes with the statement. Only 16.52% of the respondents were always uses the information twice in a week. On the basis of the findings, it was suggested that in order to improve the speed of Internet should be increased and the respondents can speedily access the information and utilize the information by the important work i.e. research work, education work, writing paper/presenting paper, administrative work, entertainment and also their download relevant materials. So provide better provision for the library should organized training programme for the information professionals so that they can know about different search interface, latest changes of the journals site and develop sophisticated searching and retrieval skills or techniques. Most of respondents were suggested that Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra should take necessary steps to utilize the library must take improve the internet, and aware the students about E-Journals & E-resources available in INFLIBNET.
