Abstract: This study aims to find out the influence of flash card learning media toward students' writing skill of explanatory text. There were 72 students which 36 experimental class students (XI.TAV.1) and 36 control class students (XI.TITL.2). This research was a quantitative experimental design. The data were collected by using test and documentation. The results of data analysis using the t-test formula obtained t-count = 11.48, and t-table with a real level of 5% and dk = 70 obtained t-table = 1.668. Thus, it turns out that t-count> t-table (I-α) (11.48> 1.668). So, the hypothesis was accepted. This proves that the learning outcomes of writing explanatory text using Flash Card learning media is more influential.

Abstract: The study aims to explain the sectors controlled by Bugis ethnicity as migrants on the Sebatik Island in the Indonesia-Malaysia border in the dynamics of border communities that utilize two regions of the country as a source for living everyday life. By using an ethnographic approach, this study found that Bugis ethnic as immigrant ethnicity controlled the economic, political and cultural arena. Bugis ethnic groups are able to master these sectors because they are supported by various factors, first, they have high adaptability to new environments. Second, having a strong work ethic as a migrant. Third, the ability to take advantage of every opportunity, especially the economy (business) as the main target for migrating. Fourth, always uphold the philosophy of Siri and Pesse as a foothold in living overseas. Fifth, always maintain good relations with families in the area of origin (South Sulawesi)...

Abstract: The environmental issues have been at the very top of the people‟s concern all over the world. There has been an extraordinary set of indicators of a rapidly rising public concern, ranging from practical to theoretical efforts toward conservation, such as, rallying environmental conservation campaigns, Green conservation movements, and also struggle to institute a viable environmental ethic. Even though humanity has faced ecological problems at other earlier times they have presently taken a new urgency due to their scope and gravity. It is now evident that, damage to the environment has an irreversible impact on man and nature. Thus, the ecological crisis on the horizon at the dawn of the 21st century is at a point where the very survival of humanity and all that is, is in grave danger..........

Abstract: Bigamy is when a man remarries while the subsistence of the previous marriage. Bigamy is criminalized under Indian Penal code and considered illegal under the Hindu Law. Any marriage which is entered into by a man while he has a subsisting marriage with another woman, the subsequent marriage is not legally recognized and neither are the relationships arising out of the marriage. However, it is not an uncommon occurrence nor is the second marriage being illegal enough of a deterrence to stop people from doing so. Even though the laws regarding eventual separation in second marriages or child custody or maintenance etc., from second marriages, are unclear, they are still taking place in the society. The apparent contrast between the law and social practice regarding second wives in India has led to a situation where it is realized that they are gravely wronged and that they are not properly protected under the law...........
