Abstract: Girish Karnad, a popular playwrights, scriptwriter, actor, director and reception of various awards, is a significant name in the Indian literary scenario. Karnad established himself as a noted and talented dramatist after the publication of Yayati (1961) and Tughlaq(1964). Karnad being a translator, his translations sparkle with "eye catching‟ novelty and he pecularises the trends from mythology or from history. The modern dramatists have successfully made use of such modes and myths. In the Indian theater tradition there has been a strong impact of mythology and history though it has not produced anything of permanent worth. Karnad was aware that this tradition has a tremendous potential...........

Abstract: The present paper focuses on the basic issues which are barriers to the egalitarian democracy of Indian social system: Brahmanism and equivalent to the caste and class systems respectively. The paper adopts a novel perspective that is quite unknown to the west which perceives basic human rights as natural rights. In fact, the state is a social construction and human rights are the legal outputs. The paper proposes an alternative remedy the human rights issues in Indian context that is Ambedkar's thought which can be better qualified as Ambedkarism; a social medicine for caste-ridden sick Indian social order. In the end, in order to adopt human rights as a part of life to establish just social order, a series of strategies compatible with Indian situations are proposed; as used by Dr Ambedkar himself. The present paper focused on the human rights concept, classification, and generations as well as Ambedkar's Methods and Approaches

Abstract: A Shakespearean tragedy, critics say, is a five storey mansion marked by exposition, the rising action, the crisis the falling action and the catastrophe. Its hero rises from scene to scene on the currents of passion and imagination, having at last, reached the heights of tragedy; he disappears through death but only after highlighting the inherent greatness of man. Shakespeare has written a large number of tragedies of which the four, Hamlet, Macbeth Othello and King Lear are considered to be standard works for purposes of analyzing his conception of tragedy. These tragedies have, no doubt, different designs, but there is a family likeness in their heroes who have common...........

Abstract: While information and communication technology (ICT) is not a panacea for all educational issues, they are no doubt, essential tools for teaching and learning in the 21st century. Technological expansion and emerging digital environments have permeated and changed the learning patterns at all levels and including primary education. Teaching the digital generation of learners without a firm grasp of how they learn is like embarking upon an everlasting journey. This study explores students‟ technological affinity as perceived by teachers and how they adapt their teaching pedagogies to suit the learner environment at primary level. An exploratory research design adopting meta-analysis of relevant literature and a survey consisting of Likert type scale with an open ended question was implemented..........

Title | : | Growth Effects of Foreign Capital in Pakistan: An Empirical Investigation |
Country | : | China |
Authors | : | Yong Lin || Jie Zhang |
: | 10.9790/0837-2310093241 |
Abstract: This paper employed the regression analysis of Augumented Dickey Fuller (ADF) unit root test, Phillips-Perron (PP) unit root test, Johansen Cointegration test, VECM model, variance decomposition and impulse response function to examine the growth effects of foreign capital in the form of foreign remittances, foreign direct investment (FDI) , official development assistance (ODA) and external debt in Pakistan over the period 1976 to 2014. The results reveal that among all these foreign capital flows only foreign remittances can significantly promote economic growth both in the short run and in the long run while ODA, FDI and external debt yield significant negative effects on economic growth in the long run. What this findings suggest is that the growth effects of foreign capital are very limited in Pakistan. Our result differs from many other studies in stressing the importance of remittances while highlighting the ineffectiveness in utilizing the other foreign capital flows in Pakistan

Abstract: Over the last two decades, the rapid growth of ICT has become one of the essential areas for education. This is due to the capability of ICT in providing a dynamic and proactive learning and conducive school environment. In line with the current digital era, learners are required to integrate ICT in their daily learning and replace their traditional methods with modern tools and facilities. Kenya has made remarkable progress putting in place an ICT policy framework and implementation strategy, complete with measurable outcomes and time frames. The process has had the benefit of sound advice from officials and stakeholders and, perhaps more importantly, strong leadership from the office of The Ministry of Education. Title | : | The Efficacy of Performance Contracting on Innovations in Public Technical Universities |

Authors | : | Opiayo Peter Mabubi |
: | 10.9790/0837-2310095668 |
Abstract: Performance contracting is a management tool for measuring performance against freely negotiated targets. It ensures accountability and efficiency in public organizations. Public technical universities are mandated to teach, conduct research and undertake community outreach through innovation. Due to high enrolments and inadequate resources, Public Technical Universities are viewed as offering low quality education devoid of research and innovation, hence incapable of driving vision 2030 and National development agenda. With this in mind, does embracing Performance contracting and conforming to CUE guidelines 2014 stimulate innovation in public technical universities? The purpose of this study, therefore, is to investigate the efficacy of performance contracting on innovations in public technical universities. The study is guided by Goal setting theory developed by Locke..........
